Apple Chips
Simple to prepare with minimal ingredients. Have some lemon juice on hand to keep the apple slices from oxidizing to soon before bake. The added brown sugar will provide a greater level of sweetness than white sugar, rounding out the tart or sweet flavor of the chips. With only four ingredients you can have a chewy, bright, and crisp snack!

- 12 Gala apples
- 10 Granny Smith apples
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 4 tbsp Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 225 degrees
Line baking sheet with parchment
Mix sugar and cinnamon and set aside
Using a mandolin or sharp knife, thinly slice apple (about 1/8" to 1/4" thick) evenly and lay sliced on prepared baking sheet
Sprinkle sugar cinnamon mixture on top of apple slices, make sure to coat both sides
Bake for 1 hour then flip and bake for another hour
Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving
